PRE-PURCHASE FAQs
Our prices are consistently low as we strive to always be highly competitive. Therefore, sales and promotions are very rare. We are not offering any site-wide or showroom discounts at the moment, but if we were to have a qualifying discount or promotion within 30-days of your purchase, we’re happy to refund you the difference.
For past customers, we do have a referral program that offers an appreciation gift to the referrer. Please contact us if you’re interested in learning more, or refer to the follow-up email we would have sent you right after installation for details.
We take your health and our country’s state of emergency very seriously. Please be aware we’re wearing masks, washing our hands frequently, using hand sanitizer before and after every appointment, and refraining from shaking hands or touching in an effort to keep customers and employees safe.
With these and other careful precautions, we are keeping appointments and maintaining business as usual.
For home windows, we specialize in whole home replacements and have a minimum purchase of three exterior items (either windows and/or doors). Interior door replacements do not count towards our exterior item minimum purchase, but can be done if added to the package. Major projects are addressed on a case by case basis.
Please feel free to email or call us at (602) 456-2227 to discuss your needs. If you don’t meet our minimum requirements, we are happy to provide contact information for a referral.
We only repair broken glass or seals on windows or doors that we’ve installed – we do not offer that as a standalone service. However, we are happy to provide contact information for a referral, if needed.
If a window frame or door is broken and you’re thinking of replacing the entire thing, DunRite requires a three item minimum purchase. (See that FAQ question to learn more.)

In-Home Estimate: During your in-home estimate, our experts will carefully measure each window, listen to your needs and answer any questions you have, and thoroughly explain the different window options for your home. Unlike big box stores, each window is custom crafted at the manufacturer for an ideal fit once we send in the measurements.

New Window Installation: We’re committed to excellence and will not leave a mess. You’ll find that our installers leave a completely clean work site, inside your home with all furniture and window treatments back in place, and outside with full cleanup of materials from the job.
Our Hassle-Free Guarantee: We’re a family-owned local business that consistently goes the extra mile for customer service. Each item has an unlimited guarantee against leakage, moisture and installation mistakes for as long as you own the home. No, DunRite does not install product purchased elsewhere, such as product from home improvement stores. We also don’t repair incorrectly installed product, or complete partially done work.
Home improvement store products are typically builder grade windows and doors, and we prefer to work with a higher grade of product with longer lifespans. This helps ensure our customers are happy with their purchase over time.
Custom ordering our own product also ensures it’s the perfect size, since it’s cut to our specifications and ordered directly from our manufacturers. We make sure each window or door is the ideal size for the opening, since it’s custom made to our specifications, then directly ordered from our manufacturers.
The products we carry are carefully screened for quality, warranty and customer service. We occasionally may change manufacturers if conditions change, but we’ve been installing most of the brands we sell for decades. We’re intimately familiar with the pros and cons of each manufacturer, and are happy to discuss which ones are most appropriate for your style and budget needs.
If you have product already purchased elsewhere or are planning to purchase it from a home improvement store, hiring a handyman is typically your best solution.

INSTALLATION FAQs
Once we receive product from the manufacturer, our installation turnaround times are quick; however, their delivery timeline is out of our control. Since it varies for each manufacturer and product line, delivery times vary based on what you order, and currently ranges from 12-18 weeks.
We schedule installation shortly after all product for your order has been delivered.
We’ll give you a current time estimate at the time of purchase, and can discuss any time restrictions or urgent situations you may have at that time. You are also welcome to contact us at any time after the sale for updates, but rest assured we’re on top of it and will be in touch once we have your order.
Please schedule an appointment here to obtain pricing and current expected
installation dates.
We typically use a combination of installation crews who are employees of the company, and our long-term outsource partners. All are held accountable and supervised closely by the owner of DunRite, Sal Sucato, and held accountable for meeting our strict criterial for installation methods, quality of work, and customer service. We never outsource to unproven partners or unknown contractors. All others are employees.
Because 5-star customer service is very important to us, we make every effort to leave your furniture and landscaping exactly the same. We want to leave your home with it just as clean as when we arrived, with furniture and window coverings back in place and landscaping undisturbed. We will not leave a mess. We have a reputation for a job done right; you won’t be disappointed!
Depending on what type of installation and product you choose, many window replacement installations will very little or no paint touch-ups after the job is complete, but some require more substantial painting. Be sure to ask your salesperson for details.
Please note certain types of windows and door materials cannot be painted, such as vinyl windows or doors; therefore, the color you choose to purchase cannot change at a later date. It’s permanent. Also, most interior doors (and some exterior ones) are installed unfinished, and require painting on both door and frame.
We do not provide paint services, so it is the responsibility of the homeowner. Be sure to ask during the appointment prior to making a purchase, so we can answer based on the specific product you choose.
Most window and door replacements do not require stucco repair. Occasionally on older homes, stucco can become dry and brittle and require patching on the exterior of the home. Generally, stucco patchwork is included in an estimate, but be sure to ask during your appointment.
Changes to an opening, or cutting a new opening almost always requires stucco work, which will be included in the estimate. Please note that if hidden damage to an opening is discovered during the installation process that was not visible during the appointment, additional charges may apply. This is rare, however.
POST-INSTALLATION FAQs
DunRite offers a lifetime warranty on our installation for as long as the purchaser owns that home. Wood windows are excluded because of how much they expand and contract, and the impact of adequate or inadequate maintenance. (They require consistent resealing/refinishing.)
Product warranty is determined by the manufacturer. For example, Andersen window warranties may vary depending on the product line chosen, and Milgard versus Pella may have different warranties.
Please know that we value our customers, and if a product warranty excludes labor costs, we will make every effort to ensure you are satisfied and not unduly charged.
Be sure to read and understand maintenance that your products require, and how that impacts warranty coverage. For example, wood window frames have very specific maintenance needs to protect wood from the elements.
The following also may void a warranty:
– obstructed weep holes on the exterior, since this is how it drains
– screwing directly into the face/frame
– applying after-market tint, film or sunscreens to the glass
– using petroleum-based cleaners, caustic chemicals, razor blades, putty knives or abrasive pads
– spray from high-pressure water hoses
– placing a heat source (such as a BBQ grill) near the window or door
Did you know dirty glass reduces energy efficiency? Keeping them clean is a basic maintenance requirement. It’s also important to regularly vacuum debris out of the tracks, keep the weep holes clear, and only use approved cleaning agents recommended by the manufacturer. window screens can be washed with a mild soap and water, using a soft brush.
Please call us if:
1. You see moisture on the drywall or window sill
2. You see discoloration or fogginess between sealed panes of glass
3. There is separation in the sealant between your home and the window
4. The door or window does not lock correctly
Do not call us if:
1. You see water on the window track inside the home. This is normal, and drains through the weep holes.
2. You see condensation on the glass. If you can touch it from the inside or outside of the home, it’s normal and will go away shortly.
