What does the DunRite process look like, from quote to installation? During your in-home estimate, our experts will carefully measure each window, listen to your needs and answer any questions you have, and thoroughly explain the different window options for your home. Unlike big box stores, each window is custom crafted at the manufacturer for an ideal fit once we send in the measurements. They’ll fit perfectly. We also inspect them upon arrival, looking for any issues with quality, ease of operation and functionality—just to be sure we’re installing a defect-free product.
When removing your original windows, we minimize air conditioning loss by removing the existing window and installing its replacement one at a time. It’s important to us that we leave a clean worksite, so you’ll find we put all of your furniture and window treatments back in place when the job is done, and we treat any landscaping in the work area with care to avoid damaging plants. The outside will be left completely free of debris, too.

Product warranties are covered by the manufacturer line, and specific to the product line and options/features you’ve purchased. However, we are one of very few (any?) in the industry to offer a lifetime installation warranty for as long as you own your home. It covers leakage, moisture and installation mistakes, and we’ll go the extra mile to make it right. Learn more here.
We do whole home window installations, and only provide repair service if it was installed by DunRite. For window repair, a handyman is often your best bet, or contacting the original installer for a warranty or service call. For glass replacement, a company specializing in glass repair is who you should call. And for window screens, either a home improvement store or a screen and awning company is most appropriate.
