Andersen Big Doors aren’t just doors – they’re an architectural statement. Installed by ELITE Certified Andersen Contractor DunRite Windows & Doors in Scottsdale, these expansive beauties open your home to the outdoors, blurring the lines between interior and exterior spaces.
Considered moving wall systems, these big doors come in four basic configurations:
- a folding outswing door that’s hung on an overhead track, for spaces up to 10′ tall and 48″ wide;
- an exterior bifold door that slides on a bottom track, for spaces up to 13′ 6″ tall and 40′ wide;
- a multi-slide, with panels that slide on a top and bottom track, stacking on top of a stationary panel; and
- the ever-trendy pivot door, a modern design where the door panel pivots in a circle, instead of sliding.
The last two products, multi-slide and pivot, are from the Andersen Aluminum division (formerly Heritage by Andersen), a fairly recent acquisition of Heritage Doors, a brand we’ve long appreciated for its sturdiness and commercial-quality hardware. They come in five finishes and three paint color options. The outswing and bifold products are available in any color.
