Anlin Malibu patio doors stand out for their custom sizing, smoother operation, and higher standard energy performance — all specifically engineered for hot climates like Arizona.
It may offer more size and customization options than the similar Milgard Tuscany vinyl sliding door, and more glass and energy-efficiency options than the higher-end Pella 250 sliding door.
It’s also the only one to offer a built-in pet door option, making them an excellent choice for pet owners.
No, the built-in pet door is an upgrade that’s installed during the manufacturing process. Currently it’s the only sliding door we offer with this option.
Other non-glass options include adding a panel at the bottom of a French door, then installing a pet door in that panel—which DunRite installs using a Hale pet door product on the bottom of a half- or three-quarter panel French door—or having a specialist install a pet door in an exterior wall of your home.
Malibu patio doors feature reinforced interlocks, heavy-duty frames, and an optional multi-point locking system we recommend for improved security.
However, if you have room for an inswing or outswing door, we recommend installing a French door instead of a slider. Because their hinges are on the interior of the home and deadbolts located at the top and bottom of all operating doors, they are the most secure option available.
